Our CPR-First Aid classes are led by American Red Cross, American Heart Association and EMS Safety certified Instructors in CPR, First Aid and BLS for Healthcare Providers. They can also utilize real-world experience in emergency safety, health care, education and family.

There are non-certification CPR-First Aid classes for Individuals (such as parents, grandparents, babysitters, friends...) as well as certification CPR-First Aid classes for Organizations (such as schools, daycares, healthcare providers, businesses...).

Family and Friends CPR-First Aid Classes

COME TO OUR NEW LOCATION IN DITMAS PARK FOR A PRIVATE CLASS OR WE CAN COME TO YOU! If you're a parent in New York or New Jersey, you may be concerned about accidents, the #1 killer of infants and children. Our family CPR-First Aid course teaches emergency skills based on the safety needs of your family, often the age of a child(ren). For example, if a child or infant on your watch began choking on a foreign object such as a bottle top, knowing Heimlich maneuver and rescue breathing can save their life. What's more important than being able to save a loved one? Our family CPR-First Aid class will teach emergency skills to your family and friends in a few comfortable hours.

Pediatric First Aid and CPR Class

We teach and certify schools and day cares how to prevent, recognize and respond during many accidents and emergencies.

Teachers and staff at schools and day cares are required to get certified, but in addition, they want to leave their certification class confident in their emergency skills should an accident really occur in their facility.

Our Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification class will show you a video on First Aid and CPR. Then spend two to three hours practicing CPR rescue breathing and Heimlich on infant and child mannequins.

We also teach accident prevention, for example, leaving behind a food list to eliminate choking accidents. Our CPR-First Aid Instructors bring materials with us to make your class convenient, including leaving materials behind for your references. Our CPR-First Aid class summary summarizes the class.

BLS Class for Healthcare Providers including AED

Nurses, doctors, home health aides, technicians, personal trainers, lifeguards or other health care professionals can be certified at their New York or New Jersey location.

BLS for Healthcare Providers with AED certification class is usually 6 hours and teaches BLS with AED for all ages.

Health Care Providers are encouraged to contact Baby Be Safe for a BLS for Healthcare Providers with AED certification class that teaches pediatric & adult CPR, rescue breathing, Heimlich maneuver on conscious & unconscious victims, proper use and application of AED machines, prevention tips and more emergency skills.
