Infant Boy Stares Ahead

Infant CPR-First Aid Class

Expecting, new and second-time parents

Dedicated to accident and emergency prevention, fast recognition and effective response for 0-12 month old newborn infants. Our Infant CPR-First Aid classes are highly recommended by Pediatricians and Obstetricians.

Parents, babysitters, grandparents, friends and nannies are some people interested in learning infant CPR, infant rescue breathing and infant heimlich on conscious and unconsious victims.

What Is An Infant-CPR First Aid Class?

Our instructors begin class with prevention tips specifically for 0-12 month old infants.

Then we watch a short video to demonstrate infant CPR-First Aid techniques.

Next we apply emergency skills on infant mannequins, in a small group, learning from each other while practicing with a partner. It's important to learn the strength of the compressions and frequency of the breaths. Depending on how long you want to practice on your CPR mannequins often determines if the class runs two or three hours.

Afterward is a QA session so everybody can get personalized answers to their infant safety questions. An example would be a mother with a 1-month-old girl that asks us, "When should I be able to give my daughter a blanket to sleep with?" After QA we provide several CPR-First Aid handouts including a book and to-do list.

New York and New Jersey families and friends responsible for an infant walk away feeling comfortable and aware of everyday accidents. Please see testimonials from recent Baby Be Safe classes.
