Adult CPR with AED Certification Class

Employers, aides, security, lifeguards, trainers, and others

Certifies you in adult CPR (9 years old and older). Help elders, teenagers and/or middle-age injured victims during accidents and emergencies (9 years and older).

That is, treating 9 year olds, 49 year olds and 89 year olds are all technically adults and reasons to learn Adult CPR with AED. Adult CPR with AED classes teach how to prevent, recognize and react during accidents from teens to elders.

What Is An Adult CPR With AED Certification Class?

It's worth noting we sometimes teach Adult CPR with AED classes for people without certification (say a spouse suffers heart attacks).

Many times, Adult CPR with AED classes usually are 4-5 hour certification classes taught to lifeguards, personal trainers, camp counselors, swimming instructors, home health aides, building security, firemen, policemen and other professional staff in Adult CPR with AED.

Students practice on adult mannequins to simulate treating any adult from teenager to elder requiring help. Mannequins have disposable parts for safe and sanitary training conditions. Everyone gets a disposable face shield for their practice so they don't spread colds and germs.

Learn to feel for a pulse, check for breathing, strength and frequency of applying compressions, use of an AED machine, treat heart attacks, and more cardiac emergencies.

This class familiarizes participants with an AED machine, such as the paddles and buttons. An AED machine indicates if there is a pulse as part of evaluating the use of electric shock to restart the heart.
