CPR-First Aid Class

Baby Be Safe Instructors have taught CPR and First Aid classes to over 3,000 Parents and 2,000 Day Care Staff in NY and NJ since 2002.

Safety & Prevention Tips

A Pediatric CPR-First Aid class begins with infant and child accident prevention. If you're a parent, babyproofing tips are essential. If you're a pre-school, knowing what size toys children can play with is essential.

An Adult CPR-First Aid class begins with recognition of medical emergencies like heart attacks and strokes. We always teach how to properly call the 911 system and we will advise you of what phone numbers to have in emergencies.

Primary & Secondary Emergency Response Video

A 25 minute CPR-First Aid class video supplements your course by teaching chest compressions and rescue breaths.

First Aid videos teach eye injuries, allergic reactions, poisoning, seizures and more.

Video serves to visually introduce students to learn emergency skills.

CPR Mannequin Training

Students pair up in small groups and practice rescue breathing, CPR and heimlich techniques.

Our state-of-the-art CPR-First Aid class mannequins have disposable lungs and airways replaced after each training.

Students are given individual disposable face shields to prevent germs.

Questions and Answers

During Q&A, a concerned mother may ask us, "What do I do if my child falls to the bottom of a pool, do I pull him out and start CPR or call 911 first?"

Afterward, a nursery teacher may ask, "What should I do if a child falls and hits their head?"

Q&A lets class participants ask personalized CPR and First Aid questions to certified Baby Be Safe Instructors.

At this point, we also send parents home with CPR-First Aid class handouts, or begin further CPR-First Aid class certification education and testing.
