Pediatric First Aid and CPR Class

We teach and certify schools and day cares how to prevent, recognize and respond during many accidents and emergencies.

Teachers and staff at schools and day cares are required to get certified, but in addition, they want to leave their certification class confident in their emergency skills should an accident really occur in their facility.

Our Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification class will show you a video on First Aid and CPR. Then spend two to three hours practicing CPR rescue breathing and Heimlich on infant and child mannequins.

We also teach accident prevention, for example, leaving behind a food list to eliminate choking accidents. Our CPR-First Aid Instructors bring materials with us to make your class convenient, including leaving materials behind for your references. Our CPR-First Aid class summary summarizes the class.

Safer Schools And Safer Day Cares

Baby Be Safe knows schools and day cares are busy places. Our First Aid and CPR instructors will teach at your New York or New Jersey school or day care, with a minimum of six students (no max, we just bring more teachers). We will teach afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Organize your own First Aid and CPR certification class at your facility. We're a private CPR company led by certified First Aid and CPR instructors through American Red Cross, American Heart Assocation and EMS Safety. We teach yearly nursery school teachers at 92nd Street Y, counselors of JCC, nursery teachers at Resurrection Episcopal Church Day School and many others. Our certified and pleasant First Aid and CPR instructors collectively have over 20 years experience teaching day care providers.

Certification Exams

Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification written exams are 25 questions with an 88% passing score, based on lessons taught during class. After successful completion, get your 2-year First Aid and CPR certification card.

Pediatric First Aid and CPR Certification Class

Recommended for nursery teachers, playgroups, camps and other childcare providers. Example: Your school or day care is in New York or New Jersey and needs a Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification or recertification class.
